-Parents need to bring dancers to dress rehearsal ready for the stage at their appointed time. BE SURE THEY ARE IN AND HAVE THE CORRECT SHOES. Dancers will receive their Winter Showcase shirts at dress rehearsal.
-Upon entering Grant Fine Arts Center, parents need to accompany dancers to their assigned number. Your dancer's teacher will relay this information to you before rehearsal. Dancers and parents will stay in this area until a staff member takes them to the stage once all class members have arrived.
- Once dancers are taken backstage, parents need to stay in the lobby. This is a CLOSED REHEARSAL! NO parents are allowed to go into the auditorium except Mommy and Me classes! - If you miss your child's stage time, there is NO other rehearsal time for them.
RECITAL:
- Dancers need to arrive 30 minutes before their show time with costume and makeup on and hair done.
- Items they need to bring, rather than wear, need to be brought in a bag or clothes basket with their name on it. Make SURE you do not send anything to drink but water - NO colored drinks, and no snacks. These are short shows and the dancers should be fine. - Dancers 10 years and younger need to be signed in. The SAME adult will need to sign them back out at the END of recital. Dancers over the age of 10 can enter the cafeteria alone.
-We will have volunteers at the door to help your child get to the appropriate place and to assist them.
- Only staff & volunteers are allowed in the cafeteria and backstage. NO parents are allowed backstage. Students cannot leave during performances.
- There will be no flowers for sale this year at the shows.
