NEWSIES
REHEARSAL PROCEDURES:
- Rehearsal: Wednesday, April 30th from 4-9pm at Grant Fine Arts Center.
- Upon entering Grant Fine Arts Center, dancers 10 years and younger need a parent to accompany them to the check-in table. A staff member will take them backstage. Dancers can be picked up at the end of rehearsal.
- This is a CLOSED REHEARSAL! NO parents are allowed to go into the auditorium to watch or allowed backstage.
- Please be sure to come with costume and makeup on, hair done, and in the proper shoes!
- If you miss your child's stage rehearsal time, there is NO other rehearsal time for them.
NEWSIES RECITAL INFORMATION:
- Newsies will be performed at Grant Fine Arts Center on Friday, May 2nd @ 6pm and Saturday, May 3rd @ 6pm. ALL Newsies dancers are in BOTH shows.

2025 GENERAL SHOWCASE INFORMATION:
- All rehearsals and shows will be at GRANT FINE ARTS CENTER331 E State Rd, Grant, MI 49327 - Please arrive at Grant Fine Arts Center at least 30 minutes before rehearsal and showtimes with hair and makeup done and costume on (with the correct shoes!)

- Upon entering Grant Fine Arts Center, parents need to accompany dancers to the check-in table.
- Dancers will stay with their parents in the lobby until their entire class has arrived for their rehearsal time. Parents are responsible for their children during this time.
- A staff member will take their group and bring them backstage and then return them to you when they are finished. Parents NEED to stay.

2025 SHOWCASE PROCEDURES:
- Dancers need to arrive 30 minutes before their show time with costume and makeup on and hair done.
- Items they need to bring, rather than wear, need to be brought in a bag or clothes basket with their name on it.
- Dancers 10 years and younger need to be signed in. The SAME adult will need to sign them back out at the END of recital. Dancers over the age of 10 can enter the cafeteria alone.
-We will have volunteers at the door to help your child get to the appropriate place and to assist them.
- Only staff & volunteers are allowed in the cafeteria and backstage. NO parents are allowed backstage.
-Students cannot leave during performances. If your dancer completes their dances before intermission, you are welcome to pick them up at intermission and bring them back to the auditorium to watch the remainder of the show.
